CHEVAL WOMEN'S CLUB VALENTINE CELEBRATION

The Valentine Celebration for the Cheval Women's Club was a fabulous hit with many of the members going home with unexpected prizes... The menu was creative and ended in a scrumptous dessert that was either a chocolate heart filled with vanilla ice cream or a white chocolate heart filled with raspberry ice cream.... I didn't see any of the gals sticking to their diets!!!!!

The speaker for the evening came from Academy Prep of Tampa which is the middle school located in Ybor City for underprivileged children. The members of the club have voted for two
consistent years to donate a portion of the charitable funds to Academy Prep.

It was a great evening and a celebratory prelude to February 14th....

Academy Prep operates two independent middle schools, 5th through 8th grades. The mission is to inspire and empower economically disadvantaged students to be future community leaders through a rigorous middle school program coupled with ongoing graduate support. All students attend on full tuition scholarships provided by the generous support of individuals, foundations and corporations throughout the Tampa Bay Area.

The School Pledge is: Standing in this room are the greatest, most committed, most responsible people this world has ever know. If it is to be, it is up to me. Yes I can! Yes I will! Yes we can! Yes we will! I am...We are... The greatest! The greatest! THE GREATEST!
The entire school gathers each morning and recites this before their day begins at 7:30 am - 6 pm each day.
