APRIL DINNER/MEETING AT SPLASH

The members dined at "Splash" to a delightful cusine of Mediterean Chicken, Big Island Maui Maui or a scrumptous pasta dish. Everyone was pleased with their dinner and an exciting evening was had by all members. We elected the new Executive Committee and the President for 2011/2012 is MaryAnn Back, Vice President, Donna Schneider, Treasurer, Tammy Meeker and for Secretary, Elaine Trotter. Congratulations to these new officers and we know they will do a great job and have many exciting events planned for the membership. We thank Melissa Burkheiser for her year as President and now she will join the ranks of the many "greats" who have served as President in the past. The new officers will be installed at the May dinner/meeting fashion show evening. We also voted to give to our charities the following: The Academy Prep of Tampa a total of $4,500.00 and The Ophelia Project, $1,500. Due to the charity in the hearts of our members the Cheval Women's Club was able to increase the donation by 50% from last year.
