MEMBER MIXER

THE THUNDER STORMS DIDN'T KEEP US AWAY.....

We had a great time last night and thanks to our members and guests that turned out regardless of the bad weather. It was so nice meeting new residents of Cheval and almost new residents.

We allowed a token male to stay for the evening who was a husband of one of the guests. We had to show our "Southern" hospitality now didn't we ladies???

Thanks to all of you that supported this effort because we all had a great time chit chatting with the new ladies and members.

And, a special thank you for the guests that came out in that weather!!!!

We hope to see you all in September! Check under the event/calendar for more details - all the events for the year are listed. Any questions, just click on "contact" and someone will respond to you.

SEE YOU ALL IN SEPTEMBER! THINK BLACK & WHITE........

"HIGH TEA"

On Friday, July 24th, President, Gloria Brown entertained her "Board of Directors" serving "High Tea". Everyone enjoyed sipping the various Green, Black and Oolong Teas and received a history lesson on the origins of tea and all the variations.

Gloria served the typical (all homemade) tea sandwiches along with roasted shrimp salad,
scones with devonshire cream and strawberry jam, and English Trifle.

There was so much planning and shopping and cooking involved in this lovely event that next year she's going to throw a Tequila Party for the end of this board's reign....

As you can see from the pictures the gals all "dressed" for the occasion and it was a delightful afternoon.

Those Savannah and Charleston ladies can't upstage us!!!!
