BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The Board of Directors met at Organic Blends restaurant at the Club to start planning for the next year. Ladies we have some "new" and "great" ideas for next year so click over to the event calendar and check them out.

One important and fantastic event will be a "Murder Mystery Party" in October with the proceeds going to our charity fund. This party will include spouses/guests. It is a "Roaring 20s" theme where you dress as a "hot" mama or a "slick" gangster where you will be attending a Syndicate Convention. Everyone is given a script to play a part so if you are an extrovert there is a special mayor part for you and if you tend to be more introverted, there are minor parts available also. I guarantee everyone will have a blast. Heavy appetizers will be available and also dessert but the bar is a "No Host Bar". It will cost $50/person and details and deadlines will be forthcoming. REMEMBER THIS IS FOR CHARITY.....

Also, in July a "Member Mixer" patio party at the famous "Tiki Bar" at the Club where we will invite new ladies to mix and mingle with us and invite them to share in all the fun that we have.

FASHION SHOW AND INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS

On May 14th the Cheval Women's Club held it's last meeting of 2008/09 and installed the officers for 2009/2010. Gloria Brown was installed as President, Tammy Thornhill, Vice President; Janet Schwartz, Secretary and Kathy Hyde as Treasurer.

The Annual Spring Fashion Show was presented by Debbie Fitzgerald, owner of "The Princess Boutique" - Debbie's boutique has unique ladies apparel and accessories and the show was a fabulous success enjoyed by all members and guests. The models were Fran Wolfson, Liz Valdez, Patti Nagy and MaryAnn Back whom are all members of the Club.

We are already looking forward to next year's show and hope we can talk Debbie in to another one previewing her Fall Collection.
