The Lunch Bunch gals dined at the Stonewood Grille and everyone was pleased with the ambiance, service and the delicious presentation of all the meals. We all vowed to return
at another time. Thank you Marge Cuesta for finding these wonderful restaurants for us.

WHITE ELEPHANT AUCTION
The annual White Elephant Auction was held on January 13, 2009 at the TPC Clubhouse.
Marilyn Heldt, Auctioneer created a fun atmosphere taking the members on a "bid ride"
from $1.00 to $40.00, on occasion. The "hits" of the evening were the purses with the
"Florida Gator" purse coming in the winner of the evening. The ladies all brought a "gently
used" item from home and each and every item sold out with all members happy with their new purchases.

2008 CHRISTMAS PARTY
The Cheval Women's Club's December Party was held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the TPC Clubhouse. We dined on "Cornish Game Hen" and ended the delightful dinner with a light chocolate mint mouse in a candy hard chocolate cup.
The evening was very festive and fun was had by all especially when the gift exchange began - we used the Chinese gift exchange game and everyone had a great time with it and, of course, as usual a few "special" items were stolen over and over. The "hits" of the evening were the adorable purses - we could have gone all night stealing and re-stealing but finally had to call a halt to the game.
We wish all our members a very Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah Season.

Vendors from the Tampa Bay Area displayed their unique, handcrafted wares together with various local boutiques, home party consultants and artists and potters. The event was enjoyed by all especially the "Light Fare with an International Flair" buffet.
The Cheval Women's Club donates all of the proceeds from this event to their various children's charities. The event was open to the public for a $5.00 donation.
